Power BI Home & Global Search Update

Microsoft announced the public preview of the new Global Search feature in the Power BI service. Microsoft claim that the navigation and managing the Power BI content might become “increasingly difficult” as their organization grow so they are improving the overall navigation experience by making it easy to monitor and analyze the key business metrics.

The public preview is starting to roll out this week. It should be enabled for all users by September 28, 2018.
